Geometrical purity, absolute use of transparency and optical effects characterize art works of Lubomír Artz. He focuses on objects of austere forms and shapes with sharp edges, firm and straight outlines, occasionally disrupted by a curvature. A concave niche having form of hemisphere or a segment of sphere is a favourite compositional element that is present in his objects. He almost exclusively uses transparent, colourless, white or champagne optical glass. It is the multiple reflection from polished surfaces and incorporation of colour that generate intriguing and colourful multidimensional inner spaces.
