Milan Opalka

The work of Milan Opalka concentrates on variations of the basic shapes of the disk and of the lens, arbitrarily combining them into a composition of mostly two discs or a disc and a lens. He studies the relationship between transparent and opaque glass as well as the dynamics of possible compositions, and disturbs the purity of the matter by means of color details.
