Oliver Leššo

1973, Bratislava

Leššo draws his inspiration form the example of older artists and their use of simple basic forms. Frequent elements in his work are hemispheres, prisms, and discs. He only sporadically disturbs the outer surface of the object, for what he really cares about is its internal inner structure, which is conceived during the very process of creation. Small glass segments are baked into the final mass of the whole creating a grid or net structure.
