Patrik Illo

1973, Považská Bystrica

He is working not only with works of glass, but also in the field of free objects and installations. His creations make use of these two elements in remarkable balance allowing them to co-exist in parallel and independently at the same time. Illo is involved in design creations that overlap free and utility art. A vase of his is at the same time a visual object while serving its original purpose. He also works on glass sculptures and installations that react to conceptual strategies and minimalist installations. These are made of ovoid formations and filled of distensions at different interpretation levels.
