Slovak Contemporary Glass

1960, Žilina

Viktor Oravec belongs to the most influential performing and action artists in Slovakia. Since 2007 he is the director of the Department of Glass and Design. He works not particularly with real glass objects. The material is for him possible pattern for expression in his installation projects, which tend to present humans and especially the human energy.
